Hybrid Esthetician

I have been reading so much lately, that I think I need to take a reading “time out”.

Being a skin care professional, I am constantly scouring the internet, magazines and webinars for new products/services that I can offer my clients.   My clients trust me. I take that responsibility very seriously.

As a result of my research, it is becoming quite obvious to me that we are putting way to many chemicals on our bodies (in our bodies too—but we will save that for another time).

So, for the past six months I have been searching and searching for an organic make-up line to offer my clients.  I am getting closer.

I believe it is very important that I offer my clients skincare and make-up products that are natural, free of parabens, PEGS, and petroleum products. I currently carry quite a few products lines that are “organic” (Osmosis, Combat Balm, Lalicious, and Mama Mio). Clients love these products and I am thrilled to offer them these natural choices.

Keep in mind, natural/organic does not mean ineffective.  Quite the opposite.  It is more expensive to make these products because they do not contain cheap additives. Quite often they have more active ingredients in them.

I also realize some people are not into this “organic/natural thing” and do no want to give up their favorite products.  That is fine too!  Trust, me there area few of my favorite products that I am not quite ready to give up.

So for now, I am happy to a hybrid esthetician!  Stay tuned for some exciting new products.
